In September 2028, Quebec will host the 17th World Conference on Injury Prevention and Safety Promotion, the leading international gathering dedicated to injury and violence prevention and the promotion of safety.
Organized by the Association pour la santé publique du Québec (ASPQ) and co-sponsored by the World Health Organization (WHO), the Conference will bring together researchers, policymakers, international organizations, municipalities, public health professionals, and community leaders from all five continents.
For three days, Quebec City will serve as a prime venue for knowledge sharing, the exchange of perspectives, and collective action to advance prevention and the promotion of safety.
After more than twenty years, the Conference returns to North America. Quebec City is ready to open this new chapter.
